The Benevolence Ministry helps members of the Pleasant Grove Church during times of financial hardship. By its discretion the Benevolence Ministry may also help those who are not members of Pleasant Grove Church who are having financial hardship.

The Usher Ministry greets those who attend services of the church with a loving and warm reception and seats them in a polite and orderly fashion to minimize distraction in worship services.

The Financial Peace Ministry teaches financial control of money by revealing God's way of handling money. Personal finance is 80% behavior and 20% head knowledge which means taking control of your money is more about what you do than what you know. This ministry builds one's body of financial knowledge.

The Financial Peace Ministry is taught used Bible based principles from Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University. Through video teaching, class discussions and interactive small-group activities, FPU presents biblical, practical steps to get you from where you are to where you've dreamed you could be.

In only nine lessons, you will learn how to get rid of debt, take control of your money, spend and save wisely, give generously, and much more! On average, families save $2,300 and pay off $5,700 in debt in the first 90 days!

The Mission Ministry stimulates the missionary spirit in church members through prayer, Bible study regarding God's missionary message and by engaging in regular mission activities in the community. The ministry encourages contributions to foreign missions, the work of the Women's Convention and faithful support of the church.

The Vacation Bible School ministry organizes and conducts the church's annual Vacation Bible School delivering the message of God's love in an informal and fun setting.

The Transportation Maintenance Ministry sees to it that church vehicles are properly maintained for safety and longevity in providing dependable transportation to and from church services, programs and meetings. Drivers are vetted Christian volunteers with special licenses as required by the State of Arkansas.

The Custodian Ministry sees to it that the church premises is clean and attractive. It also oversees maintenance and any necessary repairs to church electrical, HVAC, plumbing and other systems necessary to a smoothly functioning building and grounds.

The Church Clerk is the congregation's record keeper who records and publishes minutes of meetings as necessary and ensures that proper record generation, storage and recall are properly implemented to support God's work among church members.

The New Member and Outreach Ministry welcomes new members to our church and introduces them to church, it's traditions and to our ministry-driven system of serving God, our church and our communities.

The Deacons Ministry serves the scriptural mandate to honestly and efficiently carry out the business of the church according to Christian principles.

Deacons also serve as helpmates to the pastor in ministering to the spiritual needs of the congregation. These individuals shoulder the responsibilities which enable the church to fulfill its mission to members and the community.

Service as a deacon is a solemn responsibility. Requirements and guidance are scripturally based in Timothy 3: 8-12:
